Marjorie Ruth Black, 88, passed away on December 21, 2023. She was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Col. G. Norman Black along with her three sons: Douglas Black; Jeffery Black, his wife Marcy, and their son Alex; and Dr. David Black, his wife Dolores and their children Catherine and Sean and wife Madison. She had an avid passion for genealogy and sewing. While Marge and Norman were stationed in England, she was able to discover and meet distant relatives in both England and Ireland, which brought her great joy. Marjorie made a home for "her boys" at each duty station Norman was assigned.
Services will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, Texas on January 6, 2023. The visitation will begin at 3 pm and the service will be held at 4 pm with a reception to follow.
