Marjorie Barker Osborn died peacefully with her son at her side on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the age of 100 years. She was born March 5, 1914 in San Antonio, TX to Albert C. Barker, Sr. and Lillian Ingram Barker. She grew up in San Antonio and graduated in the first graduating class from Jefferson High School in 1932. She married Robert H. "Bob" Osborn in 1934 and spent her life as a homemaker and a loving, devoted mother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Albert C. Barker Jr.; and her sister, Modelle Vollmer.
She is survived by her son, Robert T. Osborn; and many loving friends and relatives. The family wishes to thank those who lovingly cared for Marjorie during these past years, the staff of Nix Private Care, and most recently the staff of Vitas Hospice.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary.
