Marjorie was a dedicated and hardworking person, who deeply valued education. She graduated from Texas High School in Texarkana, Texas and later earned her degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She spent 20 years as a special education teacher (the final 16 years spent at Harlandale High School) making a positive impact on the lives of countless students. She was a proud mother of her three children, Jay, Lynne and Joanna.
She was preceded in death by, husband, Martin (Marty) Rosen; Parents James Jewell (J.J.) Richardson and Ruby Mae Burkhalter Richardson; and her children’s father, James L. (Jimmy) Wright. Marjorie is survived by her son, James (Jay) Wright and wife Becky; daughters Lynne Milliron and husband Richard, and Joanna Wright Crane; grandchildren Travis Wright and wife Ashley, Tyler Wright and wife Clara, Dr. Cameron Crane, Matthew Milliron, Caroline Milliron; great grandchildren, Rebekah Wright, Gisele Wright and Madeline Wright.
The family would like to give thanks to the special people at Morningside Ministries/Menger Springs Assisted Living and Mission at Morningside Hospice as well as Rita Morris and Dean Morris.
A visitation will take place on Sunday June 28, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Porter Loring Mortuary North, followed by a service at 10:00 AM. A procession will follow to Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jay Wright, Clay Parker, Travis Wright, Tyler Wright, Cameron Crane and Matthew Milliron. Honorary Pallbearers Richard Milliron and Dean Morris.
