Dear Mark, I was extremely shocked and heartbroken by your sudden passing. You have been a dear friend to me and my family for more years that I can count! I hope you and Richard (my late husband) are enjoying a scotch & water together up there like many days gone by. You will be sorely missed my friend!!! Rest in peace! Love you, Judy

Mark: We enjoyed our phone conversations with you the past few years and our visits. Had a great time about two years ago when you showed us around your area, Fredicksburg, the Mexican breakfast place downtown San Antonia and eating supper at "Sea Island". Your in a better place now, with no more suffering.

Gone too quick... very sad😔 I remember Days of hard work, heavy schedules to meet, but Mark always had his welcoming Smile and helpful demeanor about him! He never refused to help anyone anytime! My years with him at USAA we’re made easier with him on our Team! Always willing and ready to help anyone! Your deeply missed!

I am deeply saddened to learn of Mark’s untimely passing. I was very fortunate to have worked with Mark at USAA for roughly half of his long career there. His thoughtful and caring nature endeared him to the many coworkers and USAA members he touched over the years. In many ways Mark embodied the very notion that “it is in giving of ourselves that we receive.” May you rest in peace, my good friend.

Markey , Your sudden passing has saddened our hearts. We certainly enjoyed stopping by and visiting with you every year on our way to SPI,TX. We enjoyed having coffee and donuts with you in our motorhome and the weekly phone conversations with you catching up on each others lives. We loved you as we loved your father. You reminded us so much of him. We had a lot of laughs and good conversations with you over the years. You are probably having wonderful conversation with your mom and dad and grandma Tonna Rena about now as well as other family members. Rest in heavenly peace dear cousin. We will miss you and never forget you. You will live in our hearts forever.

Marky was always gracious and kind. He had the gift of hospitality. He faithfully phoned my mother every Sunday evening until she passed away. His absence leaves a void. Sure will miss his sense of humor and straightforward way. Rest in Peace.
