Mark John Kennedy

Mark served in the United States Marine Corps for 6 years. Thereafter, he went on to become a truck driver, which he loved, working with his dad for many years. Mark eventually started his own trucking company, Kennedy Trucking. He was a great husband, father, brother and friend to all and would help anyone in need, even a stranger. He was a kind, generous, giving soul who will be greatly missed til we see you again.

He is preceded in death by his sister Cynthia Koch; brothers John Allen Kennedy and Robert D. Kennedy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dama Tausch; Daughters Desirae Kennedy and Kasie Kennedy; sons Jeremy Kennedy (Anna) and Trucker Kennedy; sisters Marsha Hines, Gerry Kvapil and Diana Rodriguez and his twin brother Michael Anthony Kennedy (Brittany); grandchildren Darrion, Devin, Marques, Mia, Aaliyah and Jaxson.

Pallbearers will be Trucker Kennedy, Marques Trevino, Derrick Kennedy, Eric Guerra, Julian Guerra and Matthew Henson.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 AM with a funeral mass to be celebrated on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom Rd, San Antonio, TX 78251. A committal service will follow on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 11:30 AM at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214.
