Mark C. Whitaker, age 48, of San Antonio passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015. He was born December 5, 1967 in Denver, Colorado to Jay L. and Carol L. Whitaker. Mark was a natural born salesman who excelled at his craft. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Mark enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, making people laugh and telling jokes. His hobbies included cooking, watching the Dallas Cowboys and reading. Mark was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his very loving wife, Tina Whitaker; children, Paul and Chelsea Coggins, Ricky and Kimberley Arnold; granddaughter, Audrey Coggins; mother, Carol L. Whitaker; sister, Becky Whitaker and wife, Ann Taylor.
Memorial service Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Porter Loring Mortuary Chapel, 1101 McCullough Avenue, Rev. John McMullen officiating.
