Marlene Ann Baliles, age 88, passed peacefully away on Friday, July 16, 2021, surrounded by her family in San Antonio. She was born on December 7, 1932 in Houston, Texas, to parents, Joseph and Alice Spates Burns. As a faithful Christian woman, she has joined her parents, brother, Jerry Burns; son, Greg Baliles in the kingdom of Heaven. She was loved by everyone she met and touched so many lives with her compassion, but most of all she loved her family. Marlene is survived by her husband of 67 years, Roy Kenneth Baliles; brother, Bob Burns; son, Roy K. Baliles, Jr.; daughter, Susan Dailey; daughter, Sharon El-Cassabgui; son, Mark Baliles; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. All friends are welcome to the service.
