Martha Andrade Aguirre

Martha Andrade Aguirre, 79, entered into eternal rest on July 27, 2023, in San Antonio, TX. Martha was a childcare worker and housekeeper. While attending to her own home, she spent many joyful hours cooking and gardening. Later in life, after the passing of her husband, she enjoyed the city by way of local transport, VIA. Mrs. Aguirre is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse C. Aguirre Jr.; son, Jesse Chavez Aguirre III, parents, Guadalupe Andrade and Paula Alonso; sisters and brothers, Petra, Aniceto, Maria de los Angeles and Juan Andrade Alonso. She is survived by her daughter, Maria de Lourdes (Manuel) Salazar; son, Mark Wayne (Palmira) Aguirre; grandchildren, Veronica Salazar, Manuel Salazar II, Victoria Soto, Sarah Soto; great grandchildren, Aaron Daniel Borda, Eva Isabela Borda, Guillermo Borda, Han Esparza, Ben Esparza, Luke Esparza; sisters, Maria Dolores, Guadalupe Andrade Alonso, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a rosary to be recited that evening at 7:00p.m. Mass of Resurrection will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 10:00a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
