Those who knew Martha will remember her immaculate standards of maintaining a clean house and driveway. A stray leaf on her driveway did not stand a chance. Martha’s clever word play was so infectious that her favorite phrases soon became a part of our own daily vocabulary. She was a trustworthy woman who was frequently sought out for her wisdom. She had a way of giving advice that was empathetic, honest, and deeply guided by her faith.
Martha is preceded in death by her spouse “mi viejito” Antonio R. Belmontes. Parents, Jesus and Maria Roman. Brothers, Juan and Jesus Roman.
Martha is survived by her children, Oscar Belmontes (and his wife, Corinne), and Sandra Rosin (and her husband Alex Rosin); grandchildren, Nicolas A. Belmontes, Alex A. Rosin, Marina Belmontes and Madelynn E. Rosin. Sisters, Consuelo Elizondo and Maria L. Diaz. Martha also leaves behind many close friends and extended family members who will miss her deeply.
Funeral services will be held on April 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266.
