Martha Sofia Cernaz-Toro

Martha was born on August 11, 1942 to Antonio Cernaz and Elsa Hamann in Cali, Colombia.

In 1959, Martha met Arnulfo Toro Vallejo, and they wed on May 13, 1961, going on to have 3 beautiful and adoring daughters, Claudia Patricia Toro Cernaz, Adriana Toro Cernaz and Maria Fernanda Toro Cernaz.

Martha was cheerful, funny, loving and caring and always made the family laugh in every moment of her life. She was a very responsible and organized person with her life, clothes, shoes, bracelets, or rings; Everything had its place. Martha had very high morals and respect for everyone in her life. Martha spent her time with the people she loved most. She loved going shopping, and staying on top of her social media accounts. At night, she stayed up to date with her soap operas. Most importantly Martha always prayed before going to sleep, keeping her family and friends in her prayers. The best thing of all, Martha was a dedicated daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother and was the biggest influence in the family. She was truly loved and will always be remembered. For this; We Thank Her.

Martha was predeceased by her husband Arnulfo Toro Vallejo and brother Danilo Franz Chermanz. She is survived by her daughters; Claudia Patricia Toro Cernaz, Adriana Toro Cernaz(Alfred Villarreal), Maria Fernanda Toro Cernaz. Sisters; Maria Cecilia, Ofelia (Hugo V.) Ana Del Socorro, Doris. Nieces and nephews; Alejandra(Juan D Medina), Alexandra, Annabella, Sonia, Viviana, Hugo, Franyo and Monica. Grandchildren; Daniel, Felipe, Dana and Great grandchildren; Sofia, Mateo, Xander, Nicolas, Sebastian, and Norah.

Martha era alegre, divertida y cariñosa y siempre hacía reír a la familia en cada momento de su vida. Era una persona muy responsable y organizada con su vida, ropa, zapatos, pulseras o anillos; Todo tenía su lugar. Martha tenía una moral muy alta y respeto por todos en su vida. Martha pasaba su tiempo con las personas que más amaba. Le encantaba ir de compras y estar al tanto de sus cuentas de redes sociales. Por la noche, se mantenía al día con sus telenovelas. Lo más importante es que Martha siempre oraba antes de irse a dormir, manteniendo a su familia y amigos en sus oraciones. Lo mejor de todo, Martha fue una hija, hermana, amiga, esposa, madre, tía, abuela y bisabuela dedicada y fue la mayor influencia en la familia. Ella fue verdaderamente amada y siempre será recordada. Martha murió despues que su esposo Arnulfo Toro Vallejo y su hermano Danilo Franz Chermanz.
