Martha Jane Cooper

Martha "Jane" Cooper, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Monday, July 22, 2002 at the age of 81. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and love of life. Her husband, three daughters and grandchildren, who loved, respected, and treasured her, were continuously at her side during her last weeks. Her greatest enjoyment came from her children, animals and cooking. She and her husband were founding members of Fair Oaks Country Club. She was a member of St. Helena's Episcopal Church in Boerne, Kendall County Humane Society, National Wildlife Federation, Home Demonstration Club of Boerne, and the Bright Shawl. Her brother, Dr. Jack Potter, M.D. preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wesley W. Cooper of San Antonio; daughters, Mrs. Dennis Jan Cooper Klingbeil of McQueeny, Mrs. Charles M. Gladys Fae Cooper Montgomery of San Antonio, and Mrs. Don Carol Ann Cooper Cody; grandchildren, William Michael Montgomery, Brian Cooper Montgomery, both of San Antonio, Gaye Lynn Boyer, and David Eugene Guest, both of Houston; and great grandson, Preston Douglas Boyer, of Houston.
