
Martha Bremer Fischer passed away at the age of 101. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Reinhardt J. Fischer in 1968. Martha Omi was born in Comal County to Edgar and Emma Krause Bremer. As a young lady, she earned a teacher's certificate at Texas Lutheran College and taught four years in Comal County rural schools.
She and her husband married in 1925 and ranched in Smithsons Valley until 1933, when they moved to San Antonio and were in the grocery and ranching business for many happy years. They were members of Christ Lutheran Church. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Leo Tynan, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Renee Tynan; son, George Fischer and wife, Carolyn; grandchildren, Michael Fischer and wife, Suzanne, Dr. Leo Tynan III and wife, Elizabeth; Martha Leigh Fischer Ferrell and husband, Keith; Martha Tynan Sheesley and husband, John; Johanna Tynan McElfresh and husband, Andrew; great-grandchildren: Casey Leigh Fischer, Carolyn Jane Fischer, Matthew Reinhardt Tynan, Eileen Renee Tynan, Johanna Moore Sheesley, Martha Anne Sheesley, Elly Carter Ferrell, Kathryn Joan Tynan, Leah Hines Sheesley, Georgie Fischer Ferrell, Dashiell Tynan McElfresh, and Daisy Costello McElfresh. She is also survived by her brother, Lloyd Bremer and numerous wonderful nieces, nephews and many treasured friends
