MSG Martha E. Granados, age 76, passed away on June 27, 2026 in Windcrest, Texas. She was born on December 31, 1949 in Monterrey, Mexico. She was a graduate from Brackenridge High School (class of 1969). Martha “Marty” proudly served her country in the United States Army for 20 years earning numerous awards during her service. Marty was a beloved sister and aunt who will be dearly missed.
Marty was preceded in death by her parents, Alejandro and Petra Granados; her brother, Francisco Granados; her life partner, Diane Wuitschick; and her nephew, Bryan Rampy. She is survived by her sisters, Nora Rampy (Erwin), Susana Granados, Laura Potier (Bruce), Norma Granados, Sylvia Gomez (Eddie), and Connie Granados (Alex); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28th from 6-8 pm in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 29th at 11:30 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church; 4411 Moana St.; San Antonio, TX 78218 with burial to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
The pallbearers are Michael Banda, David Banda, Jayden Rosado, James Chavez, Mario Rosado, and Keston Crocker.
