

She was a life resident of San Antonio, Texas. Martha was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and a former member of St. Luke's Catholic Church, St. Ann's Catholic Church and St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she was married. As a youngster, Martha attended St. Mary's Parochial School downtown, she was a 1944 graduate. She graduated from Our Lady of the Lake College in 1948. Martha was a life member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT), Inspiration Hills Garden Club, Altar Society at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, San Antonio Restaurant Association Auxiliary and Bexar County Republican Women. She was a longtime Precinct Chair and Election Judge.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Martin E. Staley and Katherine Randall Staley and grandson, Peter Andrew Williams.
She is survived by her children, Marian Katherine Stanko and husband, Roman, Martha Elizabeth Reibach, Jane Carol Martin-Fixsen and husband, Everett, Margaret Ann Wilde (Peggy), Amy Louise Bridges and husband, Robert, James Nicklin Martin III and wife, Victoria, John Staley Martin, Anthony Joseph Martin, Linda Marie Chapa and husband, Byron, Robert Louis Martin and the children's father, James Nicklin Martin, Jr,; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine Staley Hymel and numerous nieces and nephews.
