Martha was born in Chilton, Texas on November 16, 1926 to John and Erin Greer. She retired from Ft. Sam Houston, 5th Army, Civil Service after many years of dedicated service. She loved ballroom dancing and traveling.
Martha was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and she will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry "Monty" Montague; four brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Wesch and Cyndi Choate of San Antonio; sons-in-law, Marius Wesch and Bill Choate; grandchildren, David Wesch, Ashlie and her husband, Paul; and great grandchildren, Jeremy, Isabella and Nick; a brother, Bill Greer, of McGregor, Texas; and loving in-laws, Frances Greer, Joe Russell, Freeda Greer, Jack Burke and Pauline Greer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The American Lung Association, 8207 Callaghan Rd. Suite 140, San Antonio, TX 78230 in remembrance of Martha "Jean" Montague.
