Martha was a retired teacher and counselor. She graduated from A.C. Jones High School in Beeville, Texas. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Texas Women's University. Martha received many honors of recognition for her educational services to the children of Texas. She taught school in Beeville, Texas, Midland, Texas, and El Paso, Texas, and in the San Antonio Independent School District, North East Independent School District, and in Odessa, Texas for over 30 years.
Martha was predeceased by her brothers, Alvino, Antonio, Carlos Jr., and Pedro and her sisters, Otilia and Christine. She is survived by her brothers Lucas Reyes and Celia, Bert Reyes, Mike Reyes and Elida, and Ruben Reyes and Myrna; sisters, Rachel Gonzales and Ralph, Flo Rodriguez and Victor, and Estella Naranjo; numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Parkinson's Disease organization.
