

She was the devoted wife to Major Henry F. Sullivan, Jr., USAF Ret. of Newport, RI, for over 54 years. She was the caring and loving mother of her two children, Henry F. Sullivan III, deceased, and Kimberly Ann Brewer. She was the loving grandmother to her one granddaughter, Darby Ann Brewer.
Martha impacted the lives of many families on the southeast side of San Antonio, Texas, while serving as office nurse and office manager for Dr. Thomas B. Smith, family practice, for over 9 years before retiring in the mid-80's.
Many generations of families have had the opportunity to receive the diligent care and kindness that she so readily bestowed upon all who came to Dr. Smith's office seeking medical care, emotional support and her healing touch and advice.
Martha was often readily sought out for support and advice by all her family members. Martha suffered a severe stroke in March, 2009.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Irmead Click; brother, Ray Click; and her father, Herbert Ritchey. She will join her son, Henry, who also preceded her in 1975.
Martha leaves behind her husband, her daughter, and her granddaughter, residents of San Antonio, and her sisters; Nancy Jo Butts of Kyle, Texas; Noreen Clark of Loveland, Ohio; Shirley Glass of San Antonio, Texas; and her brothers, Mark Click of San Antonio, Texas; and Tommy Click of Gonzales, Texas, and many other in-laws, nieces and nephews who will miss her guiding ways and caring presence.
