

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of U.S. Air Force, Ret. Martin G. Saucedo, who entered into eternal rest on April 15, 2026 at the age of 86. He was born on December 2, 1939 in San Antonio, TX.
He retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years of service and from Kelly Air Force Base after 30+ years of Civil Service. A devoted member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Martin found joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed traveling, drawing, and spending time with his family.
Martin is preceded in death by his parents, Jose I. Saucedo and Seferina Gonzales Saucedo; siblings, Maria Nicolasa, Arturo, Jose, Juan, Richard, David, Albert and Frances Saucedo.
He was a devoted husband and cherished the 33 years he shared with his beloved wife, Florencia. Their life together was filled with laughter, love, and countless memories that will forever be treasured.
He leaves behind a loving legacy through his children, Martin Saucedo Jr. and Elizabeth Saucedo; step children, Sandra Myrick and Michael Mata (Mary); grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor (Christopher), Samantha Torres (Kevin) and Henry Page (Desiree); great grandchildren, Ayla, Makayla, Christopher, Eric, Kevin Jr. and Kaiden; siblings, Ignacio (Bertha), Valentin (Larree), Raymond (Bertha), Santos (Sylvia), Lilly (Felix), and Antonio (Beatriz) Saucedo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 4222 Southwest Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78227.
Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209.
