Martina Ciria D. Herrera

She was called home to the Lord on June 5, 2026, where she reunited with her loving parents, Leonardo and Maria Mercedes Balderas, as well as her beloved uncles, Valentin Diaz and Juan Ramon Davila.

Martina leaves behind her nine children: Tiny (Valerie), Maria (Miguel), Manuel (Ashly), Linda (Larry), Jennifer (Elmer), Yesenia (Johnny Joe), Alexandria (Abel), Leonardo (Maria), and Selena.

Living by her motto, "I had so many children so they would never feel alone," Martina built a large and loving family. She was blessed with twenty-four grandchildren and had the joy of meeting four great-grandchildren.

Martina was a devoted daughter, loving mother, and caring neighbor. Her home was always open to family and friends, and her yard was often filled with the laughter of children. Her kindness, generosity, and love left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

A visitation will be held on June 26, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
