Marvin M. Kline, age 85, of San Antonio, died Thursday, September 13, 2001. Mr. Kline was the founder of the San Antonio Board of Realtors, Co-Owner of The Former Rosow and Kline Real Estate Company, and is a former Recipient of the Texas Industrial Development Council Citation. He was once named Realtor of the year by the San Antonio Board of Realtors. Mr. Kline has served on the boards of directors of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, San Antonio Economic Development Foundation, Texas Association of Realtors, San Antonio Board of Realtors and the San Antonio Apartment Association. He also served as an active advisory member of UTSA Business council for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Allen G. Kline. Survivors: wife of 63 years, Shirlee Kline; son, Fred Kline and wife Jann, Albuquerque, NM; granddaughter, Dia Slavin and husband Jack, Boulder, CO; grandsons, Aren Kline, Albuquerque, NM, and Richard T. Kline and wife Mary, San Antonio; great-grandchildren, Astrid Slavin, Megan Kline, Morgan Kline and Richard M. Kline.
