Marvin “Mountain” E. Matherly, age 62, passed away December 15, 2012. He was born on August 7, 1950 to Herschel & Doris Matherly. He was a U.S. Army Veteran later retired as a Real Estate Inspector. Marvin was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin J. Matherly.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 37.5 years, Patricia Matherly; 2 sons, Aaron Matherly & wife Rebecca and Jacob Matherly; 2 grandchildren, Nathanial & Caleb Matherly; half-brother, Jack Matherly; sister, Patsy Anderson and other loving relatives.
The Memorial Service will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Westminster Square Apts. (1838 Basse Rd., San Antonio, TX 78213). Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com.
