

Marvin H. Wagner passed away peacefully on September 26, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Helen Ruth Riddell Wagner; parents, Louis Carl Wagner and Hilda Amelia Ring Wagner; siblings, Buford Glen Wagner and Loretta Wagner Hendrix. He is survived by sister, Janice Wagner Patrick; two daughters, Janet L. Perry Wagner, Karen C. Holder Wagner; three grandchildren, Marc L. Holder, Kenneth Scott Perry, Magen Ruth Perry Wente; three great-grandchildren, Aden L. Holder, Owen Holder, Ayden L. Edwards, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marvin served his country in the U.S. Army, and many years of hunting in the hill country, along with other hobbies as a source of enjoyment. He worked as an electrician and salesman. Marvin grew up in Burnet and Marble Falls and had good memories of exploring the caverns and fishing on the Colorado River. The family would like to acknowledge the care given by Cheyenne Beyer, CNA, Victoria Residence & Rehabilitation, and Crown Hospice of Victoria.
A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on October 7, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home, with a 12:00 p.m. chapel service to follow. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
