Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul C. Olsen, Sr.; and her siblings, Elidia Solis and Jesse Cadena. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Sandra Cavazos (Ernest), Deborah Scheel (Jeff), Paul C. Olsen, Jr. (Sandra Dominguez), Sheila Olsen and Gracie Rodriguez; as well as her 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave. The Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, a procession will depart Porter Loring at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 600 Oblate Dr., beginning at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
Mary Ann will be deeply missed by her family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to VITAS Hospice, especially Nicole and Herlinda for their care and compassion.
