Mary started working 1969 as a dental assistant. She was employed with Drs. Daniel Garcia and Fred Seitz, retiring in 1988 from UTHSC.
She always had a project going. Mary was a seamstress, a masterful quilter and an all-around handyman; she would tackle any job that needed to be done.
Her spunk and drive will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Barr.
She is survived by son, Jimmie Barr and wife, Jeannine; daughter, Shelly Martin and husband, Gary; grandsons: Shane Barr and wife, Stephanie; Lance Barr and wife, Athena; great-grandson, Duel Barr.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude and thanks to Fibia and Stella, God Bless them for their love and care extended to Mary while at Sunshine Elderly Care.
