Mary Almaraz Brigham

Mary Almaraz Brigham went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2014 at the age of 95 after fighting a courageous battle of Alzheimer’s. She was an active member of St. Stephens Catholic Church for many years, and worked for Kelly AFS as a clerk typist, retiring after 20 years of commitment. Mary truly enjoyed her crafts of ceramics, crocheting, quilting, knitting, and she loved gardening, especially flowers. Mary was dearly loved by her brother-in-law Charles (Doris) Brigham. She is preceded in death by her parents Bernardo D. Almaraz and Nestora Felan Almaraz. She is survived by her husband Richard F. Brigham, with 58 years of marriage, children; Frances (Jerry) Pierce, Alfonso (Connie) Aguirre, Bernardo Aguirre, Grandchildren: Sandra, Jerry Jr. John, Richard Russell Pierce, Veronica, Eugene, Alfonso Jr. Aguirre, numerous Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends. A visitation will begin on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 5:00 p.m., Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart on Wednesday November 5, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. for Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. 3.
