Mary Gail Thomas Campbell, died Saturday, December 02, 2017. She was born November 17, 1937 in San Antonio. She attended Randolph – Macon Women's College and the University of Texas where she became a member of Pi Beta Phi. Mary was a member of the Junior League of San Antonio, the Battle of Flowers Association, Timely Topics and the Tuesday Musical Club. She was also an active member of Christ Episcopal Church where she served on the Alter Guild and the Bookstore Committee. Her professional life includes Bible Study Fellowship and Rafiki Foundation.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Campbell, Jr. and son William R. Campbell III. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Nell Campbell; sister, Clytie Thomas Phelps and three grandsons, John E. Bakke V, Brandon Avery Bakke and Thomas Ashton Blanchard all of San Antonio.
