Mary R. Carter, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was called home by the Lord on August 6, 2013 at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Carter; her parents, brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Alvarado and her husband Josh; sister, Julia Torres; brothers, Juan Rangel and Frank Rangel. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Leticia Poret and Dr. Gladys Rodriguez, as well as A-Med Hospice for the kindness you showed to our mother and family. It was just beautiful.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 4:30pm until 8pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A private interment will take place at a later date.
