She is survived by her Sister Carmen Aguayo (Manuel, whom she loved as a brother); daughter: Kathleen C. Moreno (Albert), Sons: Robert (Jackie), Anthony, and Victor (Helen Marie); 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born on December 7, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Jose and Francisca Ledesma. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raul S. Casanova and her granddaughter, Angelica J. Moreno, and Sister Anita Flores.
Mary was involved with the veteran’s women auxiliary and fleet reserve. She loved taking trips to Las Vegas and playing bingo. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving and compassionate woman.
A viewing will be held on her behalf at 6:00pm, with a rosary recited at 7:00pm, Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Sunset North Funeral Home. A mass will be held at Holy Family Church at 10:00am on Monday March 6, 2017.
