Mary was a beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, compassion, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She dedicated 41 years of her life to a rewarding career in nursing at Baptist Hospital, where her caring heart and commitment to helping others made a lasting difference in the lives of countless patients and families. Nursing was more than just a profession to Mary; it was a reflection of her selfless nature and her desire to bring comfort and care to those in need.
Outside of her career, Mary found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed sewing, tending to her beautiful flowers, and spending precious time with her loved ones. Above all, Mary had a heart for giving. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, or provide for anyone in need. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she found her greatest happiness in making life a little brighter for others.
Mary is reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents, Natividad and Margarita Mendoza; her sons, Steve Cruz and Carlos Cruz; her grandson, Aaron Cruz; and her brothers, Jesus Mendoza, Eduardo Mendoza, Johnny Mendoza, Rudy Mendoza, and Nate Mendoza.
Her beautiful memory will forever be cherished by her loving sons, Abel Ramiro Cruz and his wife, Alicia Cruz, and Ernesto Cruz; her siblings, Gilbert Mendoza, Joe Mendoza, Lupe Brambila, and Connie Luna; her four daughters-in-law; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; along with numerous extended family members and dear friends.
Mary leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness. She will be remembered not only for the many years she devoted to caring for others but also for the warmth of her heart, the generosity of her spirit, and the unconditional love she shared with her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to blossom in the hearts of those she touched, much like the flowers she so lovingly cared for.
May Mary rest in eternal peace, knowing that the love and kindness she shared throughout her life will never be forgotten.
