She graduated from Incarnate Word High School, 1933; attended Randolph Macon Women's College and graduate B.B.A. Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas, Austin in 1937.
Mary was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and had been a member of the D.A.R., Colonial Dames of America and Military Civilian Club. She was also an active member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Mary is survived by her son, David Cassin Dick of Dallas, TX; daughter, Mary Ann Williams of Bandera; grandchildren, J. D. Wennermark, Jr. of San Antonio, TX; Leslie Kay Kocurek; Shannon Lee Roberts; Carolyn Louise Dick; and Anita Elizabeth Dick; great grandchildren, Collin Morgan and Elizabeth Caraballo
