My best friend in High school! Mary and I were inseparable and loved each other very much! After moving out of state, we lost track of each other, and I was so deeply saddened reading of her passing and Jeremys too! Many tears were and are shed for my sweet Mary!

After reading her obituary she did indeed touched hearts of many. I am not even sure I have the right person here. I don't even know her and she and her husband still touched our hearts. I reconized the picture in the paper and it stood out. Thinking back to July 31, 2003 was our wedding anniversary. We went to Ruth Cris's and met a couple there while waiting for a table. They were so outgoing and loved being with each other. You could really tell they loved each other deeply. We talked breifly and I remembered she had said something about real estate and they they loved coming to this restaurant. You must have gone there often, because the waitress knew you like family. As we went to out table and gazed at the menu, a waitress came over and sat two glasses of wine on the table, compliments of this other couple and wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Imagine two people we didn't even know, but it meant so much to us. I have thought of that several times since July and will never forget. 
We sincerely extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. If I don't have the right person thats ok, because to know there are wonderful people in the world just like the couple we met is nice to know. Pam & Glenn

Mary was such a kind hearted person. This comes as such a shock to me. I worked with Mary for almost a year and during that time she was very genuine and kind. A real pleasure to work with. She will be missed by many, but she is now in the arms of the Lord. My thoughts and prayers go out to Ray and the rest of her family. God Bless.

I swam on the Cygnets with Mary so many years ago and I am sorry we lost touch with each other so many years ago. I have thought about her when I look back at the pictures and remember a good friend. She was special and always had a smile on her face. My deepest sympathy in your loss.

I only met Mary once and, yet, she left such a strong impression on me that I will never forget her. I am so sad at her passing. It is rare indeed that you encounter someone with Mary's warmth, humor, good cheer, zest for life, kindness, concern about fairness and justice, and sensitivity at the same time. She was indeed a very special person. I am so glad that I got to meet her and spend an extended period of time with her and Ray at a party thrown by the Maxwells. I extend to Ray and all of Mary's relatives and other friends my deepest condolences.

I met Mary through her close friends, Ken and Janice. I will always remember her smile and zest for life. I will remember her outrage at injustice and the search for fairness in this world -- her unwillingness to settle for the status quo. I will always remember her pride in motherhood and her love for Jeremy. Mary was authentic to the core. 
May those of us whom she touched carry forward her lessons in our lives. I pray for Mary and her family. John
