Mary LaVerne Erekson, age 80, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013. She was born June 4, 1933. She was a loving wife, mother, Nana, Great Mother, and friend. She worked for AT&T, retiring after 27 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell C. Erekson, and sisters Nellie and Betty.
She is survived by son, Cliff Erekson and wife Michelle; two daughters, Melodie Cobian and husband Alberto, and Pamela York and husband Barney; five grandchildren, Amanda Erekson and Krystal Erekson, Dennis York and Emilie Mayer, and Aimee De Wolfe; seven great grandchildren; sister Bonnie; brother Johnny; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11 AM, Friday, October 4, 2013 with the Funeral Service to be at 12 noon at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
