She was born in Washington, D.C. on June 19, 1949, to Dr. Eugene and Mary Genevieve Finegan.
An educator for 25 years, Mary taught elementary reading. She was also a dedicated potter and member of the San Antonio Potter's Guild.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Paul; 3 sisters, Anne Metta, Maura Chellini, and Elizabeth Finegan; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
