Mary Esther lived life to the fullest filled with love laughter adventures and devotion to those she loved most. As a teenager she and her mother had a newspaper route with the San Antonio Light and then the Express News. She was a proud graduate of Fox Tech High School. She worked at Tobin as a map designer for many years and would fly over San Antonio on a helicopter.
Esther enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Spurs games, movies and taking road trips to Kickapoo, Coushatta, going on a cruise and going to Kreuz Market Barbecue Restaurant in Lockhart Tx. Her passion was barbecuing and grilling and she made the best brisket ever. Esther made an impression on everyone she met and would give her last dollar if needed to.
She will be reunited in heaven with her family, Mary Jane her partner of 35 years, mother; Hortencia Gonzales, grandmother Ramona Mayorga, Tia Antonia Perez and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survived by her sons Michael, Alex and Sean, Brother in law Joe Servin (Tina), Tia Yolanda Alderate (Sal), Tio Richard Perez (Sylvia), Tia Mary Lou Andrade. Cousins Linda Velazquez (Manuel), Laura Estrada (Steve), Lorraine Martinez (Ralph) Lisa Cave (Randy), Minda Vela (Felix) Alice Velasquez (Manuel) and numerous cousins.
Esther had the love and support from Cindy, Melody M., Aurora, Linda (Big Eyes) Becky, Mr. D and so many others.

Extended Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on September 2, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am (next day), with the Rosary there the same day at 7:00 pm.
