She graduated from Jefferson Highschool and received her teaching degree from Trinity University.
She taught school for 20 plus years, enjoyed traveling the world, meeting new people and as was an advocate for animals.
Mary Alice is survived by her sister, Florence Buckner; nephew, Bryan Buckner

The family will be welcoming guests from 10:30-11:30 AM at Sunset Funeral Chapel Friday, April 2, 2021 with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park at 12:00 PM
