Mary E. Huntsinger "has left the building." She's entered into an eternity of love and light with her husband, parents, siblings and friends. There is a party going on in heaven and she's telling the jokes. Born November 7, 1930, in New London Ct., she entered into a well deserved rest July 22, 2012 after a chronic illness surrounded by those that loved her. Though she struggled for years, few would disagree that she possessed the strength and tenacity of a prize fighter. Anyone who knew Mary knew that she was a positive, giving, loving, honest person who would give you anything she had, helped anyone she could and never knew a stranger. If you needed a laugh, Mary was the one you called. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was preceded in death in 1966 by her husband Ensign Harold Huntsinger from Anderson S.C., 2 brothers, 2 sisters, parents and in-laws - all from out of state. She is survived by her only child Belinda (Harolds) Gudmundsson, family members Arlene and John Carta, Richard Konopko, Maureen Jello, Donna Abell, extended family members and numerous very close friends ("after all friends are just family you get to choose along the way"). The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, July 27, 2012, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
