She was born November 8, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Robert Leo and Shirley Hollowell Foster.
Mary was known for putting others before herself, as she was always helping and giving to those less fortunate than her. She was an avid reader, cook and baker. Mary enjoyed working with children, as she was a secretary at Stahl Elementary for 15 years.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Mary will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Wayne Jackson; son, Robert W. Jackson and wife, Gaye; grandson, Hunter K. Jackson; son, Page D. Jackson and wife, Jennie; sister, Marilyn Winningham and husband, John; nephew, Jonas Winningham; nieces, Carrie German and Leona Stone.
