Mary Ruth Engst Keller

She was born in Lawton, OK on March 7, 1923, but she lived the last 50 years of her life in San Antonio, TX.

Mary Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Jack Leland Keller, Sr., who died January 13, 1987. She is survived by her son, Jack Leland Keller, Jr.; daughter Mary Lee Addis (Les); and her sister, Nora Hogan. She has three grandchildren, Scott Addis (Melissa), Mary Elizabeth Shivar (Chad) and Lesley Addis (Laura). She also has five great grandchildren Parker and Margot Addis, Maddi and Zack Shivar, and Irelyn Marie Addis and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Ruth was a charter member of Alamo City Church where she regularly attended the Faith Sunday School Class. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading her Bible daily and her family and friends. Mary Ruth will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM with the services to follow at 11:30 AM on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212. Burial following at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery will be for the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Gideon's International in her memory.
