

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Charles B. Alexander and her husband, Michael M. Kemp.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Kemp Brogan and Kathleen Kemp Owings and their husbands, Terry Brogan and Brad Owings. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brett, Brooke, and Belle Brogan and Heather, Katelyn, and Alexandra Owings.
Mary Olney graduated from Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio), Hockaday Jr. College (Dallas), and the University of Texas (Austin). She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
After graduation she was a reporter in the woman's department of the San Antonio Express and Evening News. Later she taught school.
She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Holly Garden Club, Historic Southwest, and Forest Oaks Garden Club. She studied the Bible for a six-year course with The Bible Study Fellowship. She also took a four-year course with the Disciple Bible Study.
Her hobbies were reading (especially biography and history), and travelling. She traveled in many countries in Europe and to Israel, Morocco, Canada, Thailand, Mexico, Japan, Hong Kong, and Cambodia. She also enjoyed travelling in the United States to places like Hawaii, Alaska, Colorado, California, and other states.
She has now travelled to her final destination in Heaven.
