

She was active in church work all her life, especially the last 40 years at St. Mark's, serving with the Altar Guild, Parish Aide Committee, Daughters of the King, the Lenten Luncheons and other church related committees. She made many contributions to support the work of St. Mark's and other charitable organizations.
Her commitment to continued giving will be realized for many years through contributions from the Leon O. Lewis and Mary Jane K. Lewis Charitable Fund administered by the San Antonio Area Foundation.
Born February 5, 1916 in Maryville, Missouri, to the late James H. Killion and Maude Edeline Haddan Killion, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon O. Lewis, and her sisters Florence, Lucille and Thelma, and her brothers, Wade, Woodrow and infant Robert.
She is survived by her nephew, Donald A. Knowlan and wife, Patsy and their children of Victoria, Texas. Also by her great niece, Jo Ann Johnson, husband Robert and their children, also of Victoria. Other relatives include the Jenkins family of St. Louis, Missouri.
