It pains me to write this knowing our beloved Aunt Mary is gone. My sister, Mariel, and I spent most of the holidays of our childhood with her at her home on Guadalajara street. Those holidays spent with her children (my cousins) and her grandchildren (my second cousins) were certainly some of my favorite childhood memories. You never knew what anyone was going to say at any given time, but you could count on it being hilarious! I always looked forward to going over to her house knowing I’d likely be welcomed with fried rice and lumpia. You will be missed Aunt Mary but I am grateful for the laughter and fun your brought to my life for the many years you did. Love, Adri

It is with great sadness that we write this about our beloved Mary. We remember as newlyweds how Mary and Mensi would invite us over so often for the huge barbecues . He always cooked for 30 when there were only 10 or 12 . We celebrated with Mary and Mensi and they were always so kind and welcoming and full of laughter. The laughter and conversations are what we will always remember. Mary was a firecracker and always loved company and to have fun. Everyone knows how much she loved Las Vegas and how she was ready to go at the drop of a hat. Just a week before she left us she was talking about a barbecue in Mario’s back yard . She loved her family and will be missed everyday. She will never be forgotten by all of us that knew and loved her.
We are gonna miss her especially around the holidays. Mary, say hi to all of the Gaitan’s up there!
