She was born on December 31, 1932 to James Lahey and Margaret Ellen Burke in Jacksonville, Illinois. Mary graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in South Bend, Indiana as a Registered Nurse.
Mary is survived by her husband Thomas F. Murray; daughter Colleen Murphy and husband Ian; son, Timothy Murray and wife Melissa; son Patrick Murray and wife Kim; 11 grandchildren; sister Eloise Wheeler and husband John.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
