

She was born on February 27, 1923 in San Antonio, Texas, to parents, Otho and Le Veda Weaver, and was a Jefferson High School graduate.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who attended San Antonio College with the ambition of becoming an attorney.
She worked as a secretary at Lackland during World War II, where she met the love of her life. Jody was a volunteer as a Grey Lady, and the Texas Institute of Cultures, she was very active at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and also at St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by, her husband, Col. Alban B. Ogden, Jr in August of 1992.
Mary Jo is survived by daughter, Kristen D. Ford and husband Lt.Gen Phillip J. Ford, USAF Ret. of McGregor, TX; son, Kort S. Ogden and wife Sandra of San Antonio; grandchildren, Maj. Jeffrey P. Ford and wife Amy of Virginia, and Meredith J. Ford and fiance Eric D. Williams of Waco; great grandchildren, William J. Ford, Mary Catherine Ford, and Elizabeth A. Ford.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 11, 2010, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
