I was so sorry to read of the death of your Mother. I worked with Jody for six years at St. Matthews. She was so nice to work with and also was a good friend. I will miss her. I know she loved her family, so I am sure you have some wonderful memories of your life together.

Kris, my deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother. It is so very hard to lose a loved one, especially a parent. Please know that I have here for you. May God bless and watch over you and your family.

I am a resident at Emeritus. I was so very lucky to have been a table mate of Jody during the past year. She was very good company and I will miss her.

What a Lady, Jody was. It was my pleasure to serve her communion and she was such a joy. Since we were both military wives, there were lots of remembrances. I always left feeling uplifted after being in her presence.

Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with the Fords during this time of mourning the loss of Jody.

Dear Family and Close Friends of Jody, I knew Jody through her many dedicated years of volunteer service to The Institute of Texan Cultures. What a stellar, award winnng ITC docent she was! As an excellent presenter of numerous Outreach Tex-Kits, the hands-on program offered in schools and for Teachers' Workshops, a typist of the many Tex-Kit confirmation letters, which were quite numerous in those days, a transcriber of numerous oral histories from tapes, a creator of stained glass samples for our Victorian Texans Outreach Program and the craftor of handmade beautiful, beloved, well dressed dried apple head dolls for the Pioneer and Folk Toy kits, Jody really proved herself to be an extremely versatile contributor to the ITC mission. No one else but Jody was able to make those apple head dolls, and they were such a hit with both children and adults groups. I'm sure she did many other ITC jobs of which I am unaware. Working and being with Jody was always such a pleasure. I was lucky enough to have traveled with her on some out of town ITC projects and what good company she was. She was a rock solid, upstanding person with so much warmth and charm. She had the most wonderful voice, smile and laugh. Grandma Ogden was my "grandmother" away from home while I attended Air Force schooling as a junior officer. I remember visiting and having wonderful conversation while she "allowed" me to work in the yard. Her favorite task given to me was filling the bird house in the back yard with bat guano. Thanks, grandma. I'll never think of Texas without thinking of Grandma Ogden. She was a wonderful, kind, witty, and well-poised woman. A real treasure. With Love and Admiration,
