Born in the Bronx, New York, on June 16, 1938, to Restituto Soto and Carmen García, Mary dedicated her life to caring for others. A graduate of Mt. Sinai Nursing School, she worked as a Registered Nurse in New York, Puerto Rico, and San Antonio, where she built lasting friendships and touched many lives through love and her trust in God.
Her strong faith guided her throughout her life and sustained her through every challenge. She found her greatest joy in her family and especially in being a grandmother.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 33 years, Ramon Jaime Pagán. She is survived by her sons, Juan Carlos Pagán and Ricardo Jaime Pagán, and grandchildren Kevin Anthony, Esteban Ray, Victoria Marie, Adaani Ray, Ian Coltrane, Johan Miles, and Levi Derek.
A Service will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary North at 12:00 p.m., followed by burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
