Mary Lou Badgett Randall was born on October 10, 1935, to Beatrice and Clyde Badgett in San Angelo, Texas. During her childhood, her family relocated to Sherman, Texas, where Mary Lou graduated from high school in 1953.
She went on to attend North Texas State College in Denton, earning her degree in Education in 1956. While in college, she was a proud member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority.
As Mary Lou began her teaching career, she met an Air Force pilot, and they married in 1958. During their marriage, they traveled to various countries and raised three sons. Eventually, Mary Lou settled in Boerne, Texas, where she devoted more than 30 years to teaching—first fourth grade and later sixth grade—touching the lives of countless students through her dedication and care.
During this time, Mary Lou greatly enjoyed traveling with friends around the country and spending summers in Ruidoso, New Mexico, with her sister and brother-in-law, creating cherished memories together.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Beatrice Badgett; her beloved sister and brother-in-law, James and Doris Ann Childress; and her two sons, Thomas and David.
