Mary Jane Rodriguez

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leo L. Rodriguez, Sr; her sister, Lela Guerrero; and brothers, Ysidro, Manuel, and Ricky Aguirre. She is survived by her daughter, Roasalie Hallenberger, her husband, Ron Hallenberger of San Antonio, TX; her son, Leo L. Rodriguez, Jr. of Edinberg, TX; her sisters, Estella Fajardo of Big Bear, CA.; Eloise Aguirre of Bastrop, TX and Dora Garcia of Redlands, CA; and two brothers, Leonard Aguirre of Henderson, NV and Ernest Riley of Honduras; and her nephew, Johnny Ochoa. She has six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was retired from Alamo Heights School District as a Cafeteria Manager. She and her husband were among the first 350 families who founded St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church with Monsignor Thomas Murphy.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 5:30 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
