ArranBeloved Wife and Mother, Maria (Mary) Helena Kohne Severance, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 , at age 71. She was born on May 25, 1940 , in Virgil , NY . Mary dedicated her life to her family and loved to quilt, cook and travel. She is survived by her adoring husband, George Arthur Severance, Jr; two sons, Andrew Burton Severance (Libby) of Ft. Worth , TX and Matthew Bryon Severance (Laura) of Dallas TX ; two grandsons, Duncan Andrew Severance and Joseph Mathias Severance; her brother, Joseph Kohne of Dryden , NY ; her sister, Anna Lamb of Baldwinsville , NY ; as well as ten nieces and nephews.
Her family finds peace in the knowledge that Mary is now in the arms of our Heavenly Father. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 , and a memorial service will be held at Wayside Chapel on a later date.
