A dear family friend we had the pleasure of sharing many years and experiences as friends and employees of the wonderful Strange Family. You are now reunited in heaven with your dear husband in eternal union. We will miss you and I specially will miss your wonderful cakes and pastry.

Mary and her family helped my high school days be filled with love. Mary and Frances welcomed me and so many others into their home. She was a beautiful lady and the love shined through her face and actions. She truly had a way to make everyone feel special. Her faith was seen in her life. I thank God I had an opportunity to know her and love her. In my eyes, she made the best of life in each situation.

What a beautiful picture of Mary! She was certainly a beautiful person inside and out. We so enjoyed her company, conversation and especially her wonderful cooking! Brunch in her home was the most pleasant experience for The Tom Bond family when visiting San Antonio. She will always hold a dear spot in our hearts! Much Love to the Singleton Family! Mary was such a wonderful gracious lady in so many respects. I shall always remember our fun trips with Ag and Wilma, and often being asked as a bridge substitute. The fact that she knew my mother at USAA "back in the days" endeared her to me that much more. 
Such a loss, but wonderful memories exist; and we do know she is in a much better place!

A dear friend is gone. We echo the sadness in your heart. Mary is in the arms of the Lord ... she has her victory!

My deepest condolences to Mary's family. I had the privilege of meeting her on several occasions at Beacon Hills Presby., where I had been invited to visit by Scott Jones, a member. I had already heard glowing remarks about her wonderful cooking, bread making and hospitality. I also attended some of the church parties, where Mary had recruited the Strange family to play for our entertainment. I remember she very proudly showed off the new commercial stove in the kitchen at Beacon Hills. I know she played a big part in making all the meals delicious. I was so proud when she shared a couple of recipes with me. I will also miss her delicious desserts at the Steak House in Waring. She was a lovely and friendly lady. She will certainly be missed by everyone. You, the family, will have wonderful memories of her forever.

MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO THE SINGLETON AND STRANGE FAMILIES. I DIDN'T KNOW MARY VERY WELL BUT WHENEVER I SPENT TIME WITH HER I ALWAYS FELT THERE WAS ONE WORD THAT DESCRIBED HER AND THAT WAS GRACE.

Mary was such a wonderful example to my brother, Larry and my sister Linda, and I while growing up in Beacon Hill Presbyterian Church. She was always smiling. She often cooked for the Youth Group at the church and was very patient with usa difficult task, indeed. My condolences to the family. What a great lady!

Although I have been away for many years,the memories I have of Mary Singleton were those of a kind and steady personality. Her kindness touched me personally and I have remembered it always.
