

She was born January 14, 1934, to John Bryn Williams and Katherine (Kuhlman) of San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Incarnate Word High School in 1951 and from Incarnate Word College in 1955 with a degree in Chemistry. She was also Treasurer of her Senior Class and also the President of Phi Sigma Sorority. She put her Chemistry degree to work at Ft. Sam Houston as a Lab Technician.
She married the love of her life David F. Spicer on November 23, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas.
She later joined USAA in 1982 as an insurance service representative but later transferred to the investment company and rose to the position of Director of USAA IMCO Transfer Agency at USAA and retired in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her husband David, her parents, and her sister Bonnie (Williams) Rayborn. She is survived by her son, John Spicer and daughter-in-law Dawn Spicer of Frisco, Texas as well as grandchildren, Andrew J. Hale of Frisco Texas, Katherine N. Spicer and Mary E. Spicer of Plano Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Martha (Williams) George, and nephews Jack, David (Sandra) and Charlie George.
She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and mentor to many.
