Mary Ione Thompson, age 91, passed away on January 5, 2016 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on August 21, 1924 in Tuxpan, Mexico to Robert & Eve Willy. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her 3 sons, Marion Thompson, David Thompson and Steve Thompson; sister, Molly Neel; brother, Louis Willy; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 9:00 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Shockley officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
